Tunisia Airports
Your Gateway to Tunisia
Everything you need for a comfortable journey at Tunis-Carthage Airport.
Information desks are located in the public arrival and departure halls of the airport, staffed 24/7 by multilingual agents who provide travelers with guidance on flights, transportation, services and required procedures.
Several VIP lounges operate airside for business and first-class passengers. These lounges (e.g. Tunisair's Espace Privilège) offer amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, snacks, TV and international press in a relaxed setting.
Free public Wi-Fi is available in the terminals (limited free access time). Shops and kiosks for local carriers (Orange, Ooredoo, Tunisie Telecom) sell 4G SIM cards for convenient mobile data.
A wide variety of shops are available, including a large duty-free area. Travelers can purchase books, newspapers, souvenirs, local crafts, fashion, electronics, perfumes, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products throughout the airport.
The airport police station and security personnel operate around the clock to ensure passenger safety. Uniformed officers enforce security protocols and can be approached to report any suspicious activity.
A medical clinic with on-call doctors, first aid and ambulance service is available in the public hall for emergencies. A pharmacy is located on the 1st floor of the main hall (open Mon–Fri 08:00–19:30, Sat–Sun 08:00–17:00).
Bars and restaurants can be found in public areas and the boarding zones. These venues serve meals, snacks and drinks, with fast-food options (sandwiches, etc.) available 24/7 for passengers on the move.
Multiple car rental agencies (Avis, Hertz, Europcar, etc.) have service desks at the airport. Many desks are open 24 hours, allowing travelers to pick up a vehicle at any time of day.
Yellow taxis are available 24/7 at the airport exit. Two city bus lines (Transtu No. 35 and No. 635) link the airport with downtown Tunis. Many hotels and resorts also offer shuttle services to and from the airport.
